Back To The Future 3 - 2 Time Machines?

In 1955 Doc is in the Delorian and is struck by lightning and sent back to 1885. Doc is stuck there because the Delorian broke. Doc hides it in the cave behind the cemetary for Marty and 1955 Doc to find to get Marty back to 1985 again. But Marty takes the Delorian BACK to 1885 where Doc AND the Delorian are stuck. Wouldn't that make 2 time machines in 1885 at the same time? Why didn't they just go get the gas from the Delorian Doc took to 1885??

larrecun writes:: well, if Marty had been more thoughtful, he could have traveled back way before the killing took place. He could have gone back to January, when the doc first got to 1885 , OR he could have just gone back to 1985 and warn the doc or himself about the darn almanac, lol. Another option would have been writing another letter to the 1955 doc about the almanac, knowing already that he would have read it too, the same way he did with the first letter.; 15 of 6576 found this helpful.
