When Doug (Denzell Washington) is in Claire's apartment for the first time, he goes into the room where the answering machine is located. The thing that makes the room stand out is the double-door that Denzell shuts behind him and we see a larger-than-life jazz trumpet player painted on the double-door.

Doug walks over and listens to Claire's messages from her machine. However, from the same angle as before, the doors that Doug had shut are now wide open as when he first entered the room.
