In I am Legend, the first flashback shows Will Smith saying goodbye to his wife and daughter. The camera pans back from Smith waving to the helicopter. In the final flashback of the same event/same memory, Smith has a beard. In the first flashback, he has no beard. It's the same event, it should be consistent.
