The latest Pace Picante commercial states that Pace grows it own jalapeno pepper seeds and shows a pepper that is obviously not a jalapeno! Jalapenos are smooth and blunt ended dark green peppers. The pepper they show is a ribbed, pointed pepper like an Ancho or Anaheim pepper. If these folks are such experts, how could they get the pepper wrong? Even folks from "New York City" can spot the difference.
