Despite the outstanding attention to detail, the one thing that I always found curious was Mrs. Parker's hairstyle. Women in the 1940s didn't wear their hair like that. It looks like a hairstyle that would have been popular in 1983 (when the movie was made). I always thought they could have given her a hairstyle more fitting of the times.
