This slip up starts out when Annie and her husband are sitting in the kitchen discussing her wanting to take Pilgrim and Grace to Montana. Her husband asks if the "cowboy vet" knows she's coming and Annie says "Yes". However, when she arrives at the Montana ranch, Tom's brother says, "Are you expecting anyone?" and Tom says's "No". He then asks Annie why she's there and can't believe she drove 2000 miles with the horse. If he knew she was coming, why was he so surprised at her being there?
