In an episode of the Andy Griffith Show, Opie is playing with a girl in the front of his house.

He challenges her to a race to prove he can beat her. He looks up the street says to her see the tree by the gas station, first one there wins.

They race she wins, and they are on a dirt road in sort of a country like location not a house around. Later on in the same episode Andy is walking down the street, and stops at his house. You see behind him a heavily residential area, all the way up to the end. How could opie have pointed to a tree and end up in a dirt road with absolutely no houses.
