In "The Line" episode, near the middle, Kensei, Yaeko, and Hiro are creeping up to White Beards camp. Hiro and Kensei are talking, Kensei has obvious facial hair. Once they are in the tent, talking to White Beard, the camera does a closeup shot on Kensei toward the end of the scene - he now is very clean shaven.
