Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory - Hey-is That a New Purse?
Mike Teevee's mother is carrying a black purse with gold chains on the straps during most of the tour, but when she enters the Wonkavision Room, suddenly and unexplicably she has a completely different purse. Conveniently, it's white and just happens to match everything else in the room.

What? Mike Teevee doesn´t have his mother with him. He has his father with him.

What? Mike Teevee doesn´t have his mother with him. He has his father with him. I think you are confused with Augustus Gloop who has his mother with him. But he drops out in the begining of the tour. So this is not a slip-Up.

I don't know if the purse slip-up is correct, but Mike TeeVee did go to the factory with his mother in the movie. The character was played by Dodo Denny.

No, On Charlie and The Chocolate Factory, the seventies version with Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka, Mike Teevees mother does accompany him to the chocolate factory. Watch the movie! The kids have great talent. But anyways, the "white purse" was probably done on purpose, just to fit in with what was going on during the movie.

This is referring to the 1971 film, not the 2005 Johnny Depp one. In the original, Mike does have his mother with him.
