During the entire first episode of the second season (manhunt), Michael runs around with half a cuff on his right hand (the other cuff got chopped up in the previous episode). Among other places, the single cuff can clearly be seen while he jumps on the train, in time index 04:39.

However, almost at the end (time index 40:05), where he takes them off, the cuffs miraculously repaired themselves, and they are back to being a shiny new pair.
