Towards the end of Mr. Brooks, Kevin Costner is sitting in a cafe and reads headlines on the front page. One of which refers to a "Local" man. USA Today is a national paper and doesn't report local news. This makes no sense considering that earlier in the movie there is a copy of the actual local paper.
