In Jodi Picoult's novel, My Sister's Keeper, Kate is diagnosed with APL in 1990. Shortly after she was diagnosed, Jesse was given a blood test to check to see if he could be a donor for her. Sara mentions how he came out with a Rugrats band aid on his finger after the blood test. But this took place in 1990, and the Rugrats didn't air until August of 1991. There would be no possible way for Jesse to recieve a Rugrats band aid in 1990.
