Midway through the movie when Will Smith is telling his friend he need's his $14 back and the friend says he didn't believe he still owed it, as they walk away from the gate entrance to his friend's place, you can see a poster of Lord of the Rings on the side of a bus stop.

The movie is set in 1981 or later, WAY before Lord of the Rings came out.
