When the sister and boyfriend go to check the room at the Bates Motel a torch appears from nowhere and then later disappears:

As they approach the room from outside the sister is carrying nothing in either hand. When inside the room she uses a torch to look around(which is definitely producing light). After they have both been in the shower room they then leave, but she no longer has the torch she looked around with a few seconds before and she is not seen putting it down anywhere.
