During the time that the family has gathered to spend time at their little island house, they decide to play football. The slip-up is that anytime that the football is just being held or shown by one person, it is a newer (if not brand new) football. However, when the game is in play, the football is an older, more raggedy looking ball. It will actually alternate from new ball to old ball and vice-versa from scene to scene.
