In episodes 2 and 3, after Easy Company has landed, a few times you will hear the challenge "Flash!" with the reply of "Thunder!". You continue to here this when it's supposedly about 2 weeks after the initial invasion had started. However in actuality, the challenge and reply was changed everyday to prevent any English-speaking German soldiers from learning it and luring any unsuspecting paratroopers/allies into an ambush.
