During the first fight scene in the library the phantom is attempting to get away up a flight of stairs. He is being pursued by Connery, and a few soldiers try to intervene. One of the soldiers (wearing a Nazi style military hat) screams up to the phantom, "Run James!" This unbelievably reveals the phantoms actual identity of Dr. James Moriarty in one of the first scenes!
