At the beggining of the film when Troy and Gabriella are singing 'Start of something new' together at the new years eve party, both Troy and Gabriella are reading the words of the song off the screen as if they didnt know the words but later on in the song, Troy and Gabriella are looking at each other and singing at the same time as if they did know the words to the song.
