At the start, the Master Chief and Cortana are on a longsword fighter with the crotubes. Johnson and the others are on a pelican dropshp. When they plan to take the flagship, the plan is for everyone to be on the longsword while the pelican flies on autopilot to draw fire. the plan is on page 52-53. On page 55, the pelican is vaporized. The fighter lands and they take the ship. They return to the fighter, only now it is pelican on page 95 onward. It also has the crotubes even though there was no possible way for them to be tranfered.
