In Demons and Angels the Good Rimmer is a religious person, (best i can explain it) yet in emohawk when the polymorph takes away his negativity he becomes Ace Rimmer.
It takes more than taking negativity away for Rimmer to be Angelic. You would have to take Ego, Vanity and Smugness away. All the things that Ace Rimmer has pleanty of.
