During the entire movie, they show the ND players with their names on the backs of their jerseys. ND has never permitted the players to display their names on their uniforms. This goes back for as long as there has been a football team at ND. It's some Catholic vanity rule. I can't believe they didn't change that especially considering the number of priests who contributed input to this film!
