Why was, "Wild Bill" the only prisoner on "E Block" to wear that black and white striped outfit? I thought all prisoners had to wear a certain type of outfit so it was known that they were prisoners. Plus, where did the white outfit that, Wild Bill had on underneath that come from? When they were dressing him in the mental hospital, they were putting those black and white pants on with nothing underneath (rememberance of seeing his buttocks helps with this). Is that some special thing they give you once you get to prison or something? haha;) Then there was that blue top with the off white/khaki colored pants that Bitterbuck wore all the time, Del for only, well for lack of a better word, "special" occasions, and "Toot"- which brings me to my next question, why is he wearing the same outfit as the prisoners?? Then there was John, who wore the same outfit throughout the whole entire movie. [AS EXPLAINED BY PAUL EDGECOMB, THE DEATH ROW INMATES WERE TREATED WITH "KID GLOVES" AND WERE MADE TO BE AS COMFORTABLE AS POSSIBLE FOR THEIR SHORT STAY ON THE GREEN MILE. IF THE PRISONERS HAD THEIR OWN CLOTHES, THE LESS BURDEN ON THE STATE OF LOUISIANA TO CLOTHE THEM.]
