Another point concerning this scene- in Britain we wouldn'tusually say "I'm going to watch a movie", we would say, "I'm going to watch a film." A small point, I know.. but true.

You can't rewind TV, so it had to be in the VCR, but the thing is, if it were in the VCR, he said "In Like Flint, That's my favorite movie!" It had to be in the VCR and since it was, why was he so suprised that it was on? And also, a movie doesn't display it's name in the middle of the movie, and when he rewound it, you could see it said "In Like Flint" on the TV screen, and he kept rewinding it, and there was stuff after where he rewound it, so it wasn't the begining of the movie. If that makes any sense!

Maybe it was that new kind of TV that DOES let you pause, rewind, etc...

Surely you do say "movie" instead of "film" sometimes. Sometimes I say film and not movie.

If they can make Fembots, they surely can rewind or fastbforward TV (I'll have two Fembots and a TV, please!)

Well, it's 1969, they probably don't have advanced TV's then! So it's a slip-up.

It wasn't 1969 it was 1999. There are actually new TVs out which allow you to do that, being a spy Austin obviously got one before everyone else.

It is a mess up! It was 1999! There were no tv's that you could rewind! I think that is a good mess up! I even saw that one! Good one!

First of all, he didn't fast forward it, he rewound it. Also why would he rewind it because it was the beginning of the movie. You can tell this because when he turns the movie on, it has the title "In Like Flint" so how could it be in the middle of the movie.

There is a device that lets you rewind TV - its called TiVo - it records like all the time or something, so you can rewind anything you want.....the TV in the hotel could have had this device......(it is a pretty fancy hotel!)
