In the scene when they are in the X Jet and the 2 missiles are coming at them, after the missile hits the plane, and Rogue is sucked out, Nightcrawler teleports out, grabs her, and brings her back in. If you look closely, he is never looking directly at where he is going, yet later on in the movie he tells Storm that he can't teleport unless he sees where he is going.
