The slip up occurs in the scene where Franchesca is riding in the passenger's seat of the pickup with her husband Richard at the wheel, just after Robert turns the corner and drives out of her life. As F and R are driving home, she's crying, he turns on the radio and she stares out the window. For a brief moment, you'll notice parked on the side of the street a late model foreign car, like a Toyota. That sure doesn't belong in a movie based in the 50's!
