In the scene with Neo being lectured by his boss, there is one wall that is being window-washed. In the scene where he returns to this room to escape, he exits the window, and needs to go around a CORNER in order to get to the 'scaffolding'. There is no corner in the first scene.
It's not the same room you fool. Do you think Morpheus would have had to have given him all those directions to get there if it was his bosses office? No! He would have said, "Stay low and go back to your bosses office". But he didn't. So shut up and look for a real fault.
These are two completely separate rooms. We're given no orientation as to the location of the boss's room in correspondance with the room in which Neo attempts to exit from, however it's quite obvious to assume that the entirely different layouts of the rooms mean that they are actually just entirely different rooms. And Sammo? Don't be nasty about it. It was a simple mistake.
Besides the fact that everyone has made my point for me *they were different rooms*, I'd like to add this: Neo had to climb on the ledge to get to the scaffolding. It (the scaffolding)was directly in front of his boss's office. If he had actually climbed the ledge, he would have ended up in front of the office. Again *they were different rooms*.
Further proof that these are different rooms: The picture in the office of Neos' boss is a large panorama of a city. In the other office there are a number of smaller pictures hung on the walls. Granted, the door and wall colors are the same but it is the same office, so this would be expected.
