In the beginning of the movie when they show the Starbucks tower, it is storming and even lightening. But when we see the sky through the windows it is bright blue with white clouds...
Obviously the temporary lightening and all is just for an "evil" effect.

Well I live in Seattle and the weather changes very quickly here. One minute It can be raining buckets and the next minute it's bright blue sky with a bright yellow sun. So maybe it's just showing exactly how the weather is here.
