In the first season episode "Mr. Monk and the Earthquake" aren't allowed to go into their home, because the entire block has been shut off (due to a broken gas pipe, this approx. 10 minutes into the episode). After the police officer gives them the number to Emergency Services and the photographer ask if he can get in to take a couple of pictures, Sharona asks if they can get some stuff from the house. Here's the thing, when you look at the police officers mouth, you hear the line, but his mouth doesn't move until maybe a second later (this is while you see the back/shoulder profile of the cop). And in his next line (same camera angle), his mouth doesn't move at all. (The line(s) are: "Ma'am, you have to call that number, okay? That's all I know" and "Now Please, step back")
