yeah, i noticed that too. i think he did that on pupose though. First of all, it takes to long to say www. Second of all, maybe there really is a www.sshhh.com (SSHHH can be spelled a lot of ways) and they didnt want to infringe on any copy rights. third of all, Dr Evil is a stupid character, and isnt supposed to know much about 1997
Perhaps that indicates that Dr Evil is trying to be "hip" and up to date but really he doesnt know wat hes talking about? Thats more of a joke than a slip-up i think! :)
This part of the scene was not in the script, Mike Myers ad-libbed all of the sshhh parts. I do agree with whomever said he was ill-informed about the nineties, because if you'll remember, Dr. Evil ended the URL with .com.org. I have personally never seen a .com.org.
The lack of the third "w" and the addition of the .org represents Dr. Evils attempt at being "contemporary" without much success. This is not a slip up!
Okay, it does sound like he says "ww." instead of "www.". But what most don't realize, the .org was added when the movie was reliesed to VHS and DVD. I saw it in the theater and the .org wasn't there. If you have the soundtrack, open the insert and look at the picture with Dr. Evil standing with his hand on the globe. In small letters to the right, it says: www.shhh.com.org . I actually went to that site when the movie was reliesed and it wasn't owned by the producers, some a-hole hackers bought the url before the producers had the chance to (the site is no longer there now). If you have the dvd, turn on your English Subtitles. It says: WWW.shh.com.org (typed exactly how they did with capital W's). Now if there are any mess-ups, it's there. The soundtrack has three h's and the DVD has only two.
