Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - Fast Drying Bill
In the begining of the movie, Charlie finds a ten dollar bill on the ground in the snow. When he picks up and look at it the bill was wet, however, when Charlie gives the shop keeper the Ten Dollar bill for a Wonka Bar, you can see the the bill was dry.
More importantly, the shop owner never gives Charlie his change. He totally rips him off for over 9 bucks. Yeah, sure, the kid just found a golden ticket, but you could still at least give him his money. He's starving for crying out loud...
if you watch the shop keeper puts the change in front of Charlie, Right as Charlie pulls out the ticket you see the shopp keepers hand putting down the money. Charlie runs out without picking up the change.
Charlie also forgets his gloves. Though it's likely that he realized he forgot his gloves and went back to the shop, grabbed his gloves and change, then went back home and went to bed. It was something the filmmakers and Charlie (played by Freddie Highmore) probably overlooked and didn't worry about. If anything, him forgetting his gloves and change is a character mistake, not a film mistake.
