Dawson's Creek is suppose to be taking place in Capeside, Ma. On season 3, Episode 20 "The Longest Day", Dawson and Joey meet on the street. As Joey walks away, you see a slab of stone that has a historical fact. If you look closely, you can see that it says something about the Ironclad North Carolina being built in 1862. Most D.C. fans know that the show was shot in N.C., but if it's suppose to be taking place in MA., why would they have historical facts about North Carolina?
