Corpse Bride - Switcheroo
There is a very popular poster for this movie in which The Corpse Bride (Emily) and Victor are reaching out their hands toward one another. You'll notice that in this particular poster, the bride's bony hand is on her RIGHT, reaching toward Victor.
Now, watch the movie. Throughout the entire film, her bony arm is on her LEFT. Very big slipup if you ask me.
Visual Proof! See the examples below and post your pictures too.
The poster shows the corpse bride with the arm on her right. Switcheroo! The switching of the arms on the poster was probably done because the corpse bride looks better on the right (and it had to be the bony hand reaching for Victor's hand) but it's still a slipup!

Emily (the Corpse Bride) is a lot prettier on that side... My friend's boyfriend is a computer maniac and tried to switch the poster around on this graphic art thing he has on his computer, it doesn't look the same. I think it's because of the way the background and everything is...

I noticed this slipup, too, but never really thought to add it since it's not actually part of the film... I'd be willing to bet that the reason this slipup occured was because Johnny Depp's name legally had to appear first on the poster before Helena Bonham Carter's. (It's kind of silly, but that's usually one of the major demands that most actor's publicisists insist upon when their clients are cast in a lead role.) Therefore, in order to keep the names of the actors above their respective characters, Victor had to appear on the left. And aesthetically, it makes more sense to have the bride reaching out with her boney arm.

I agree with Maniac Killa. Although there could be other reasons for them to put Victor on the side he's on in the poster, it's just a flip shot of what they had originally planned. As far as flipping it NOW, of course it's not going to look right with the background, Gracey Poo. Anyway, this is a common practice to flip a certain shot on a publicity poster.

wow thats cool. and i do agree with there could be other reasons because there are a lot of movies covers that have people situated and there names are not right above them. take this movie cover for instance...http://www.coverbrowser.com/image/bestselling-movies-2006/1076-1.jpg
