In the Sailor Moon R movie that was recently released dubbed in english, when Sailor Moon activates her scepter to eliminate her enimies she yells moon princess elimination which does not coincide with the television verson which is moon scepter activation. This phrase is said incorrectly throughout the whole movie.
WRONG WRONG WRONG!In the S movie she doesn't use the Cutie Moon Rod(Moon Scepter)or is it called the Moon Rod?Anyway The reason the attack name was changed was to match the Japanese version better.Notice that Jupiter's attack was closer to her japanese version too and Mercury's WAS the japanese name.Hopefully they won't give Stupid Dubbie names to the outer Senshi
FYI, the japanese name of the attack is "Moon Princess Halation." What "Halation" means, I don't know. Also, if anyone wants to know, it's pronounced "Mun Purinsesu Haretion" or something like that.
hi this is from the author of this slip up. I was only trying to point out the fact that even in the dub the powers are changed. i chose not to bring in the original powers and the manga(all of which i know)due to the fact that the slipup would be several pages long and unbearable to read. As for you tuxedo kamen, I was referring to Sailormoon R The Promise of The Rose and not Sailor Moon S Hearts in Ice. These two movies are from two totally different seasons and of course the weapons and the attacks would be drastically different. I would recommend that you read more closely next time before acting all holy and insulting someone who you do not even know.
thank you
Of course the names of the attacks are going to be different. These movies are put out by Pioneer. Also, if you notice in every movie, the voices, no matter what their voices are in the season, are always the same as Sailor Moon R. I'm not sure about Rini for all three movies so anyone can correct me if I'm wrong. DiC didn't really have a thing to do with the movies. Plus, I think they wanted to have attacks closer to the Japanese attacks like the people before me have stated.
