Its at the part where Christian picks up Cher for the party. When she gets in the car she has a hair clip in her hair. Then at the dance its gone. Then when Josh is driving her home the clip is back in her hair again.
She could've easily taken it out at the party and then put it back in.

Yes at the party she didn't have them in her hair, but pay attention to the top of her dress, the clips are on it. So maybe she took them out while she was dancing and them put them back when she left the party.
