During Metallicas Preformance of "Enter sandman" they clearly say "I F@#! you in" instead of "I tuck you in" I knew to look for this because metallica always changes that word during live preformances.
S&M was recorded live so they probably did say "F**K" instead of "tuck". Some one tole my copy and I haven't been able to copy myself a new one yet. so I can't check.
OK, so they might have changed the words. Not really a slip-up, though, is it? Not even a f..k up.
You should try to catch the movie about the original Woodstock. Remember it was around thirty years before this party, and listen to the words. Especially Country Joe McDonald calling The Fish Cheer. (Give me an f . . . etc.)
That's not true if you watch year and 1/2 with Metallica when James is singing in the booth and Bob Rock is recording it sounds like he say "F*ck" but he says "Tuck". if you turn the close caption on when watching cunning stunts it says he said"Tuck" but it sounds like "F*ck"
That's definitely just the way Hetfield says 'tuck'. Your mind simply wants to hear f*ck. I mean, he's supposed to be talking to a little kid, saying 'I f*ck you in' would be really, uh, wrong.
It is true that James Hetfield did get a profanity on FOX TV. But as some of you people know the songs are slightly changed when played live. NO, this doesn't mean that they changed the lyrics to "Enter Sandman" or any other songs on "Metallica", "Load" and "Re-load", "Puppets", "Lightning" "Justice" or even "Kill-em all" the only way that the songs have different lyrics is if they are demos (which are recorded in one take) or if they are played live. The lyrics to Enter Sandman are the same as they were on the black album and will always stay that way. If you need further proof listen to S&M disc 2 or Live S**t:Binge and Purge Mexico city 1 or San Diego 1.
