During the first scene that takes place in the school, Max hits on Alison (is that her name?) and gives her his phone number. The paper he uses is lined, and his name and number are written in the top left-hand corner. Later, when Max declares his disbelief in the Sanderson Sisters, Alison gives back his phone number on a plain white piece of paper with his name and number written in huge letters right in the center of the paper. Did she keep the number and give Max a copy, just in case he had forgotten his phone number, or what?
