Series of Unfortunate Events, A - Time Skips?
Near the time "stephano" comes to Dr.Mongommerys house, and they are talking about Gustav. He says, he called sick not one hour ago! Note that it is pitch black outside. Then when it goes to the cut-scene of Gustav tied to the train, it is clearly morning, or late afternoon! See for yourself! I personally feel this is a very obvious slip-up and should have been caught and prevented.

It doesn't take more than an hour to go from daylight to dark, though. So I wouldn't say this is a slip-up.

Keep in mind also that it may have been Count Olaf who made the call.
