Near the end of the movie Steve Martin voice over's that he had to add extra air conditioners to the house to keep the women cool. You can see they're the window installed kind and see the curtains blowing in many of the windows. But when Nina tells him to turn up the air conditioning because it's hot he goes to the wall thermostat and turns it instead. That might work for central air but it won't do anything for all those window units!
