In the episode where Pete and Ashley get mugged on their way to a golf game, the guy that mugs them turns out to be Irene's dad who's coming to visit her. Of course, no one knows him and Ashley beats up on the guy during the mugging. He shows up in the emergency room where Berg is working that day.

While Berg is looking him over and they are conversing, the band-aid keeps changing positions on the guy's head from shot to shot.
