john constantine is a serious smoker and is slowly dying. near the end where john comits suicide and starts to get lifted up two heaven the devil grabs john and puts his hands inside of john and rips out johns lung cancer. right at the end of the movie when john and the women are standind on the roof just minutes after the above events john instead of grabbing a cigarette he gets some nicotine gum. for a person who has been a serious smoker for all of his life right up to the point where he gets cured you wouldnt really imagine him to have a pack of nicotine gum?
