In the episode where Stevie's mother leaves the family, the beginning of the second segment shows Malcolm and Stevie on the basketball courts. Stevie is in a vegetative state due to his shock, so when a chocolate bar wrapper carried by the wind flies onto his face, he doesn't notice. It appears in three shots. The first shows the wrapper flying onto his face with the nutritional facts (the back) facing the viewer. Then, after a shot of Malcolm looking at it, a second shot of Stevie shows it still on his face with the logo side (the front) facing the viewer!
