SAW - Empty Chamber
In the scene where Cary Elwes goes to get the gun from the dead guy in the middle of the floor, he opens it (its a revolver), and there is no shell casing in the gun. If the guy had killed himself, and the gun was still clenched in his hand, there should have been a shell casing in it; but there wasn't.

SPOILER! . . . Dude, the guy quite obviously did not kill himself and therefore there would not have been a bullet casing. I think it would be a little hint used to let observent, quick-thinking viewers in on the twist a tad early, before the rest of the audience goes ahhh... congratulations for being one of those few!

Exactly, IF he would have killed himself. The body in the middle of the room isn't dead so therefore, there doesn't need to be a casing in the revolver.

Umm... did you see the whole movie? The guy in the middle of the floor wasn't dead. He didn't kill himself, he just made it look that way.

what about the fact that he was shocking people whilst his hands were full, until the end when he pulls the shocker out of his pocket?

I thought they heard the gun go off. Therefore, there would be a shell casing even if it was a blank.

This isn't about this, but it can't be posted as a slip up, because it's an "inconsistency" and those aren't aloud. But in the second movie that blonde guy that was in that nasty room got didn't he? Why is he still in that room in the second movie?

John was a bit of a perfectionist, so I am surprised he didn't put an empty casing in the gun. But maybe he figured no one in the movie would notice.
