When Michael is at the party at the beginning of the movie, he meets Dr. Rachel Porter (played by Uma Thurman), but fails miserably at asking her out. This all happens before he agrees to do the three year job, so when they erase his memory, he should still remember going to the party. He should remember meeting Dr. Porter and know what she looks like. This Slip-up completely ruins scenes later in the movie, especially when the company he made the future-viewing laser for sends in a look-alike to deceive him. He would obviously know that the look- alike wasn't really Dr. Porter and everything after that would be...different!
