In the very beginning of the film, before the passengers are awakened, while panning the ship, they pan to a control panel. The movie cuts to another shot, then back to the same control panel only now there is a coffee mug sitting on the right hand side of the monitor.
Not a slip-up. Someone had to pilot the ship, check systems, etc., until the point where they actually entered hypersleep. There are probably some cigarette butts around, too.
