In the mall, Howard is talking to the Santa about a bootleg turbo doll. In this scene, Santa's beard slips off and you hear a "peeling" sound as if it were glued on to his clean shaven face.

A few minutes later, as they scene unfolds in Santa's workshop, Howard pulls Santa's beard that is attached with elastic banding. As it springs back in Aanta's face, you see very visible stubble on his face.
