During the Dancing Homer episode, if you watch carefully while Homer is driving the car in the city, you see Marge's dress turn from orange to green, her necklace turn from orange to white, and her hair get darker all in one second.
Okay, this comment not only regards this episode, but every episode from the first season or two. It is very simple. If you watch new episodes now, the color schemes are near perfect. But back then when The Simpsons became their own series, you see a lot of little flaws that everyone points out. Just accept the fact the first season wasn't perfect, i.e. colors, voices, locations, buildings. But all the kinks got worked out and it is time to just realize that those little problems need to be let go. C'mon, even Homer's voice changed over the years. So any problems you see with the first season, let it go. The animators were still kinda settling in.
