Near the end of the movie, Tom Cruise and Sydney Pollack are having a conversation around a pool table. Watch the billiard balls. They move around by themselves quite a bit from shot to shot.
And also if you notice, most of the balls on the table look a lot like cue balls. Now i don't know a lot about pool but i don't think there are any pool games that have more than one cue ball.
