Actually, I have just seen this exact scene. He says "374". So if they're going by months, he's about 31 years old if he started working from birth.

sharist- You are right, but it would still be wrong, Spongebob is 17 years old. Watch "No Free Rides" or any other episode where it shows his licence. Pause it when it shows his licence, it says "Age: 17"

It's 300 something, not 3000, and actually, if you can work at about 18 or so, 300 awards would be 25 years, making him in his 40's. But maybe it actually said "employee of the week" or something like that, which would be less than 6 years. Still doesn't make sense, since he would have to have started at 17, but you also don't have to renew a license every year, more like every 6 years or so, and your license would list the age you were when you got it, not your actual current age. Maybe he had just gotten his license or something when he started working there. There you go!

Have you ever actually seen spongebob. They don't exactly go far to make it realistic. It is definatly 374 employee of the MONTH awards. The most they ever mentioned during the show is 26. Who's to say that the movie isn't supposed to be YEARS from now. I don't think any of it really matters...it's Spongebob after all.

Actually, If you are that interested in how old spongebob is, if you go on wikipedia, it will say that spongebob was born on July 14, 1986; Although Sephen Hillenburg, the creator, wants all the charactors to be "ageless".
