It is in the scene when the ninja's attack the samurai, it is around the 1 hour and 10minute are, two ninjas have swords but then about ten seconds later one of them has two, i don't think the guy could change so so fast
You do realise in that scene a few ninja's were killed, right? Maybe he picked up the sword from his fallen comrade, as one would do in a battlefield. Not a slipup.
