In the episode where Homer fakes a fire to get the family into the car for Duff Gardens, he turns on music and bart and lisa try to escape, but homer has already taken care of that and taken off both door handles. When they get to Duff Gardens Bart and Lisa seem to have no problem getting out of the car.
